Milele Verse Logo
MileleVerse Designer toy Brand : USW Final Major Project
2026
For My 3rd year of my BA Illustration course, I created a Designer toy brand called Milele Verse, which centres around a person named Milele. They are an unknown creation from an unknown entity and she uses fashion and hair expression to change and experiment with identity and appearance. She has the power to travel through multiverses and discover more about herself, having endless chances to do so ( Her name translates from Swahili meaning infinity ).

the larger illustration is Milele in their original/main form and the small 4 illustrations are concepts designs of her, following the theme of space.

Different but United.jpg
'Different but united' - Bastford Prize Submission
2026
This piece is an illustration of 2 black women in different styles, which demonstrates how different black women can be presented in society. This is due to lifestyle and differences growing up. No matter how different they are, they are connected through ethnicity and racial struggles from Misogynoir. All black women are part of a community and connect with one another mentally.

Alien girl.jpg

A series of digital illustrations, featuring an alien character, showcased in different fashion styles. She’s the embodiment of freedom and self expression, following the alienation that black girls/women encounter, facing the fixed black stereotypical labels, coined by society. This art piece demonstrates black femininity and true authenticity, through fashion.
Met gala.jpg
Doechii Met Gala look
2025
This illustration is of  the Rapper and singer, Doechii. This is from her first appearance at the prestigious fashion showcase,The Met Gala. Her outfit, which was custom made by the designer line, Louis Vuitton, following the theme 'Tailored for You' and black dandyism. This comes from how black men during the 1800s and over used fashion and accessories to showcase identity and create a stand towards a new direction towards social and political possibilities - Met Museum.org
